Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 5 Feb 1957

H. Howard Kimball, 61, of 436 East Main street, died Monday evening at the Ionia
rest home where he had been a patient for one week.  He was born January 31,
1876 in Lyons township the son of Stephen and Mary Kimball.  On December 14,
1898 he was married to Maude Millard of Muir.  He was engaged in farming in the
Lyons and Muir area and after coming to Ionia in 1923 worked at the Ionia Desk
company until his retirement.  Mr. and Mrs. Kimball celebrated their golden
wedding in 1948 at the Lyons Masonic lodge of which he was a member.

Besides his wife he is survived by four sons, Frank of Charlotte, Ralph of Muir,
Howard of Lansing and Floyd of Port Huron; two daughters, Mrs. Carle Beck of
Crystal and Mrs. Robert J. Smith of Ionia; 11 grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Boynton funeral home Thursday
afternoon at 2 o’clock and interment will be in Muir cemetery.
