The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, February 8, 1973
Marvin D. Kimball, 36, of 179 Liberty, Saranac, died early Thursday morning at 
his residence.  Born March 28, 1936, in Bloomfield township, Isabella county, 
he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey A. Kimball.  He was married August 30, 
1958 in Saranac to Charlott Wheelock and resided in Saranac the past nine 
years.

He served the Marion Free Methodist church as minister one year, was a member 
of the Saranac Free Methodist church and teacher of the adult Sunday school 
class of the church.  He had also served with the navy.  He was employed by 
McInerney company of Grand Rapids.

Surviving besides the wife, Charlott, are two daughters, Ruth Ann and Elaine 
Sue, both at home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Kimball of Blanchard; three 
brothers, Dale E. of Blanchard, Lyle L. of Six Lakes, and Clyde E. of Saranac.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Morris-Roetman funeral home in 
Saranac.  Rev. Arnold Delmater will officiate and interment will be at Saranac 
cemetery.  Family will be at the funeral home Thursday and Friday from 7 to 9 
p.m.
