Kimball were held Monday afternoon at the Muir Presbyterian church. Rev. Paul L. Stewart officiated. Music was furnished by Mrs. Beatrice Anderson Smith at the piano. Mrs. George Steadman and Plynn Woodworth sang “Abide With Me” and Beautiful Isle of Somewhere.” Daisy Tarbell Kimball was born in Holland in 1876 and came to North Plains at the age of 13. When she was 18 the family moved to Muir. She graduated from the Muir high school in 1895. She was married to John T. Kimball February 17, 1897. Mrs. Kimball is survived by her husband; one son, Kenneth, of Detroit; one daughter, Mrs. Walter Kay of Dearborn; one grandson, Robert Kay, of Dearborn. She was active in the Presbyterian Ladies Aid Society, secretary of the Muir Library club and Muir Alumni Association. Her sunny disposition made her loved by old and young and she will be greatly missed by her many friends. Pall bearers were Frank Burtraw, Wilber Wiggins, Edward Elvert, Austin Hayes, George MacGillivray and Carl Jones.
