Ionia Sentinel Standard, 13 Dec 1971

Death of F. Ralph Kimball, 67, of Muir, at his winter home at Apache Junction,
Ariz., was reported during the weekend.  Born April 8, 1904 in Lyons township,
his parents were Henry and Maude Kimball.  He was married in July 1929 to
Lucille Kendall, who died July 19, 1967.

Mr. Kimball was a member of Ionia Farm Bureau, Muir Presbyterian church; was
past master of Lyons lodge F&AM.  H was formerly treasurer of the township and
served as a member of Muir school board.  He was a former Muir school bus driver
and school custodian.

Surviving are a son, Donald of rural Muir; a daughter, Mrs. Willis Kassdorf of
Muir; two brothers, Howard of Lansing and Floyd of Lapeer; two sisters, Mrs.
Mildred Sniff of Ionia and Mrs. Marion Beck of Newaygo; and eight grandchildren.

Services, which will be arranged by Shaw-Rivett-Hull of Muir, will await arrival
of the body from Arizona, late Monday.
