Ionia County News, 24 Mar 1938

Allen A. Kimberly 46, World War veteran, died suddenly Monday afternoon, of a 
heart attack while attending to his duties at the Shoemaker store, East Main 
street.  He was born in Belding, January 3, 1892.  His parents died many years 
ago and he had lived in Ionia and worked at the Shoemaker store for the past 15 
years.  He has no relatives.

Funeral services will be from the Myers Funeral home Thursday afternoon at 
2:30.  Rev. George Woolcock of the Baptist church will conduct the service and 
burial will be in Cook’s corners cemetery.
