Belding News, 9 Jan 1908

Mrs. E.W. Kimberly, a resident of this city for many years, passed away last
Sunday afternoon at her home on Front street, after several months’ illness,
aged 65 years and 9 months.

Mrs. Kimberly suffered a paraletic shock last August, the effects from which she
never fully recovered, since which time she has been slowly failing.  She was
highly respected by those who knew her and leaves besides her husband, one son
from a former marriage, Charles Filkins, of Chicago, who was at her bedside at
the time of her death.

Funeral services were held at the house yesterday at 10 o’clock a.m., conducted
by Rev. N.J. Myers and attended by a large number of relatives and friends. 
Interment in the Otisco cemetery.
