Sentinel-Std. - Thursday, May 1, 1969

SARANAC- Roy C. Kimble, 77, of Bluewater Highway, Saranac, died Wednesday at 
Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids.

He was born December 19, 1891 in Boston township, the son of Benson Kimble and 
Mary Green Kimble, April 31, 1914 he was married to Alma Ruth Merger. They 
lived two years at Rocky River, Ohio, then moved to the farm where he was born 
and since lived.

Until the last 10 years he was employed at the Saranac creamery.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth; two sons. Norman and Donald of Saranac; one 
daughter, Mrs. Doris Hale of route 2, Saranac; 22 grandchildren and 12 great-
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 pm at Morris-Roetman funeral home with 
Rev. Joe Everett officiating. Interment will be at Saranac cemetery.

Family will be at the funeral home Thursday from 2 until 4 pm and 7 until 9 pm.
