S. King died at the home of his mother, Mrs. Charity King, in this village last Saturday night, aged 58 years. The immediate cause of his death was blood poisoning resulting from paralysis with which he was stricken at Custer in the northern part of the state, a few months ago. He was brought home and has since been a dreadful sufferer. He leaves beside the mother, two brothers and four sisters: Jacob King of Charlotte, Allen King of Woodland, Mrs. Libbie Warren and Mrs. Nancy Whipple of Custer, Mrs. Antha Cunningham and Mrs. Nola Gorkey of this place. The funeral services were conducted from the M.E. church Monday afternoon, Rev. I. H. Mourer officiating. Interment was made in Lakeside cemetery.
