Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2002

Elizabeth King, 82, of Ionia passed away Sunday, Nov. 10, 2002, in Ionia.  She 
was born July 11, 1920 in Goshen, Ind., the daughter of Martin and Caroline 
(Schmucker) Hochstetler.  She married Elmer King Sept. 5, 1946, who preceded 
her in death May of 1994.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Elroy Miles (Sandra) King of Aruba, Ellis Merle 
(Suzanne) King of Ionia, Eldon Mylo King and Elwood Martin King; special 
friend, Terry Eliason of Ionia; sisters, Frances King of Freeport, Oneda 
Chapman of Three Rivers and Caroline (Seymor) Bouwens of Freeport; eight 
grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.  She was preceded in death of eight 
brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia 
with the Rev. Marty Culver officiating.  The family will receive friends and 
family from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral 
home.
