Ionia Sentinel Standard, 3 Jul 1979

Paul King, 80, 300 Summit St., Saranac, died Sunday morning at Ionia Memorial 
Hospital.  He was born in Kentucky February 28, 1899, to Brice and Constance 
(Sweat) King.  Mr. King was a life-member of the American Legion and he was a 
member of the Masonic Lodge.  He was married to Bessie Hatch, on Mary 17, 1930 
in Detroit.  

One brother, Mendel King, preceded him in death on May 5, 1979.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Lake Funeral Home in 
Saranac, with the Rev. Joe Everett and Steve Everett officiating.  Internment 
was in South Boston Cemetery.  Masonic services were held Monday at 8 p.m. at 
the funeral home.  Contributions can be made at the funeral home.
