King, 99, of Lansing, formerly of Belding, died Wednesday morning, Sept. 18, 2002 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. She was born on March 7, 1903 in Jeannette, Pa., the daughter of Lewis and Mary Kemigo Starcoski. Mary had worked in the silk mills in Belding. She married Frank King on May 8, 1921, in Belding. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank King, in 1979; a brother, Henry Starcoski; and her daughter, Bette Price, in 1999. She is survived by son-in-law, Bill Price of Belding; two granddaughters, Mary Jo and Robert Gregson of Tennessee, Shelle Price of Lansing; brother, Butch Starcoski of Florida; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral and committal services are 4 p.m. today at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding; with Pastor Ken Harger of Shiloh Community Church officiating. Interment is in River Ridge Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alvah N. Belding Library or the Belding Museum.
