Main street, Tuesday morning at 11:30 o’clock. Mr. King had been in failing health for the past sixteen years, but only recently did his illness become serious. Death was caused from heart failure. Mr. King was 85 years of age, and was born in Orleans township on the 8th day of February, 1852. He first came to Belding twelve years ago where he operated a meat market for about three years when ill health forced him to retire. Mr. King is survived by his wife, Livvie King, and one son, Jud King, of Belding. He also has three sisters living; Mrs. Abbie Howe, of Fairplains; Mrs. M. S. Boss, of Cook’s Corners, and Mrs. J. Devendorf, of Otisco. Funeral services will be held from the late home at 302 W. Main street, Friday afternoon, November 23, at 2 o’clock, interment will be made in Belding cemetery.
