He was born in England, January 31, 1850 and at the age of two years he came to the United states with his parents and lived in Ionia practically all of his life. In 1923 he married Mrs. Lena Alliason. Surviving him are three sons George, of Flint; William, of Grand Ledge; Frank, of Lansing; one daughter, Eva, of Leslie; one sister, of Big Rapids; five stepsons, Lawrence Alliason, Albert Alliason and George Alliason, of Detroit; Arthur Alliason, of Saranac Lake, N.Y., John Alliason, of Ionia; three step-daughters, Mrs. Nellie Fletcher, of Muir; Mrs. Elsie Turpin, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; Mrs. Hazel McSween, of Ionia; and several grand and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at the Boynton funeral chapel and interment at the Saranac cemetery.
