                             ELWIN KING

MANTON- Elwin King, 74, of Manton, died March 12 at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac.

He was born in Kent County Sept. 16, 1924.He grew  up in the Clarksville area 
and lived many years in Ionia. He worked for the Mitchell-Bentley Corp. in 
Ionia, Owosso and Cadillac.

He moved to Manton in 1970.

He was a ember of the Ionia Masonic Lodge.He served in the National Guard for 
three years during WW II.

He married Velma Barton, in Ionia, on Feb. 25, 1937. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Gary King of Owosso; two brothers< Elmer King of 
ionia and Vernon King of Shiloh; 14 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren. 
One son and one daughter preceded him in death.

Graveside services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Tuttle Cemetery in Ionia.

Funeral arrangements are by Hall Funeral Home, 309 W.Main Street, Manton,Mich.
