She had been seriously ill for two weeks and in poor health for the last six months. She is survived by her husband, John King; one brother, Theodore Hinds of Ionia; a sister, Mrs. Mary Michelson of California; two half brothers, Edward Lockman of Alden, and Lewis Lockman of Boyne City. She was born in Ionia and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Hinds. She married John King July 6, 1910 and has lived in South Ionia 36 years. Funeral services will be held from the Boynton funeral home Sunday at 2:30 o’clock with the Rev. W. L. Cruthers officiating. Interment will be at Highland Park cemetery. Subsequent Publication: Monday, January 7, 1946 Funeral services for Mrs. John King, Route 4, South Ionia, who died at her home Thursday evening, were held from the Boynton funeral home Sunday at 2:30 o’clock with the Rev. W. L. Cruthers officiating. Interment was at Highland Park cemetery. Bearers were Don McVeigh, Carl Owen, Bert Fox, George Sargeant, Eston Bussell and Robert Carpenter. Relatives from away were Royal King of Amlin, Ohio Reuben Bowers, and Mr. and Mrs. John Harrison of Mt. Pleasant; Elmer Guthrie, Alfred Guthrie, Joe Guthrie, and Fred Guthrie of Clare; and Isaac Bashore, and Mrs. Elizabeth Reamer of Lake Odessa.
