            KING

Ellis Merle King, aged 72 of Eagle formerly of Ionia.He was born January 18, 
1951, in Ionia the son of Elmer and Elizabeth (Hostetler)King. Ellis served in 
the Army during the Vietnam War.He married Suzanne A. Nummer June 30, 1972, in 
Ionia.

Ellis was a member of the Ionia David A. Huhn VFW Post 12082.He was a past 
member of the Ionia Moose Lodge. Ellis was a past member of the First Methodist 
Church in Ionia and the Easton Methodist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife Suzanne A.King of Eagle. Daughters;Sarah King 
and Rodney Williams of Eagle and Danielle Davis of Ionia.Grandchildren; 
Kristaffer King, Arianna Davis, Jace Victor, Nikki Herbsteith, Jordan Williams, 
Aleiyah Williams, Jaden Williams, Elijah Williams, Roger Davis and Lillian 
Rieckman. Brothers; Elroy (Sandy) King of Texas and Elwood (Terri) King of 
Ionia. Special Friends, Lillian, Roger and Betsy. Ellis was preceded in death by 
his parents and brother Eldon King.

Memorial services with Military Funeral Honors will be at the Lake Funeral home 
in Ionia,Friday,September 15, 2023, at 12:00 PM with a luncheon to follow at the 
Ionia Moose Lodge. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to the choice 
of his Family. Online condolences may be  made at www.lakefuneralhomes.com.
