She leaves besides her husband a son nineteen years old and two young daughters. A true Christian mother is deeply mourned. Valenta Bell Cunningham King, daughter of Edwin and Ianthia Cunningham, was born in Woodland township, Barry County, Michigan, December 2, 1884 and departed this life at Pennock hospital, April 3, 1925. She was united in marriage to Charles Edward King, February 22, 1905. To this union was born three children, Dervill A., Velda L., and Wilma N. She was converted to her blessed Savior in early life and joined the united Brethren church in 1907. She was a good wife and a loving mother, and leaves to mourn her departure her husband, one son, two daughters, her mother, Mrs. Edwin Cunningham, a brother Ernest, besides other relatives and friends. The funeral was held at the Tamarac church Monday, Rev. V. H. Beardsley preached and Rev. and Mrs. Beardsley sang. Burial was at Lake Side.
