JACOB KING. Charlotte M., wife of Jacob King, died at midnight last night, at age of 69. Funeral from family residence, Morse street, at 2 p.m. Saturday. Interment, Highland Park. Mrs. Jacob King. (Friday, Dec. 14, 1906) Mrs. Jacob King, whose maiden name was Charlotte M. Holcomb, was born in Sheldon, Wyoming county, N. Y., Dec. 10, 1837. She came to Orleans about 1843, and had thus been a resident of Ionia county for 60 years. She was married to Jacob King Oct. 21, 1856. Three children were born to them: Nate G., of Lakeview, Montcalm Co.: Lila, wife of E. Chappie of Belding, who died in 1884; and Ella A., wife of Grant Steele of Breckenridge, Gratiot Co. Mrs. King was converted and joined the Methodist church when a girl, and was a member of the Ionia church at time of her death. Funeral services at the family home on Morse street, at 2 p.m. Saturday, conducted by Rev. Dr. Cogshall. The music will be by Rev. H. C. Snyder and daughter of Breckenridge. Friends desiring to view the remains can do so between the hours of 10 and 12 tomorrow.
