Ionia Farmer Is Killed By Horses

Clarksville, Sept. 16 – Arthur King, 54, a farmer living two miles south of
here, was killed this morning when his team bolted and dragged him under the
wheels of his wagon.  The accident occurred near the Clarksville Co-operative
elevator where Mr. King had been loading coal.  No one witnessed the accident,
but from the injuries on the body and signs of struggle at the spot where the
body was found it is believed he grabbed the reins as the horses started and was
pulled under the wheels.

He is survived by the widow and two daughters.
