She was born June 3, 1867 in Sweden and for the past 27 years had lived on the farm in Orange. She was married to John Alliason in 1885, and to William King in 1923. She was an active member of the Presbyterian Church in Ionia. She leaves her husband; eight children, Lawrence Alliason, Albert Alliason, and George Alliason, of Detroit, Mrs. Donald Fletcher of Muir, John Alliason and Mrs. Hazel McSween of Ionia, and Mrs. Charles Turpin of Fort Wayne, Ind.; five step-children, William King, Grand Ledge, George King of Flint; Frank King of Lansing; Mrs. Ross Kenyon, South Bend, Ind., and Miss Evan King of Mason, and one sister, Mrs. Gusta Olson, Western Springs, Ill. Funeral arrangements have not been made as yet. Subsequent Publication: The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, October 1, 1934 The funeral services for Mrs. Lena King will be held from her farm home on M- 14 south of US-16 Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. Rev. H. A. Simpson will conduct the service. Burial in the family lot at Highland Park cemetery. Mrs. King’s death occurred after a lingering illness Saturday morning at her home in Orange township. Subsequent Publication: The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, October 5, 1934 Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Alliason King were held Tuesday afternoon, October 2, at 2:30 o’clock at her farm home in Orange township. Rev. H. A. Simpson of the Presbyterian church of which she was a life member, officiated. Mrs. King was born in Sweden in 1867 and her death occurred at her home where she had resided for 27 years. Interment at Highland Park cemetery. Pallbearers were her five sons, Lawrence, Albert, George , John and Arthur, and her son-in-law, Charles Turpin.
