Mrs. Kingston was 72 years of age, and a woman who was classed among the pioneers of the city, having resided here for half a century. She had been in failing health for the last three years, having heart affection. Her condition became serious about three weeks ago, and from that time the end seemed near at any moment. The sons were called to her bedside a week or so ago but when she rallied they returned home only to be called back again last Saturday. The surviving children are George Kingston of Kokomo, Ind.; Frank Kingston of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mrs. J. L Taylor and Mrs. Harvey Moffatt, both of this city. Mrs. Kingston during recent years has made her home with her daughters and she died at the home of Mrs. Taylor, on East Lafayette street. She was a kindly, Christian woman, devoted to her home and her children, and as a long resident here was esteemed for her good qualities. The funeral will be attended at 1 o’clock Tuesday afternoon from the Taylor residence, interment in Tuttle cemetery. Rev. M. C. Marshall will conduct the services.
