Funeral Services for John Kingston, of Ionia Township, to Be Held Tuesday
Afternoon.

John Kingston, a lifelong resident of Ionia county, died at the city hospital at
Pontiac early Sunday morning from a stroke of apoplexy suffered two weeks ago
while visiting at the home of his brother-in-law, Fred Conner.

Mr. Kingston was born in Ionia township 57 years ago.  He was one of the
prominent farmers in that township for many years.

Besides his widow he is survived by four children, Burton Kingston, who lives
near the old home; Mrs. Harry Youngs, Mrs. Morris Benedict and Miss Carrie
Kingston.  His aged parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Kingston, live at the home of
their son.

The funeral will be held from the residence Tuesday afternoon at 2:30.  Rev.
M.S. Decker will conduct the service.  Burial will take place in the Tuttle
cemetery.
