Ionia County News - Thursday, Dec. 8, 1932

Word reached here Thursday that Dr. Chauncey Kinney had passed away at his home 
in Norton, Kansas. He was born in Keene township, 54 years ago and graduated 
with the class of 1895 at the Saranac High school, going from here to the 
Detroit Medical School. After graduation there he went west. For a good many 
years he was head of the large sanatariom in Norton, Kansas. He leaves a wife 
and three children. A sister, Mrs. Lula Dillenbeck of Clarksville, Michigan, 
and a brother, Earl Kinney, of Saranac. The funeral was held Friday at his late 
home. He was buried there.
