Aug. 12, 1974 URAL ROY KINNEY Ural Roy Kinney, 65, of 229 King died at his home Saturday evening of an apparent heart attack. Born at Atlanta July 11, 1909, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kinney and lived in the Atlanta area until moving to Ionia in 1938. He had made his home with his stepbrother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Font. He had worked at the Gibson's plant in Greenville, the AC Spark factory in Ionia during World War II, and was a self employed painter many years. The past four years he had worked as a painter for the Ionia public school system. Surviving are nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 pm at the Leddick funeral home. Rev. Roger Gifford of First Christian Church will officiate and interment will be at Clear Lake cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 pm.
