Yvonne C. “Bonnie” Kinsman, 97, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2014.  She 
was born on August 1, 1916 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of William G. and 
Mercy (Ricker) VanCamp. 

Mrs. Kinsman graduated from Ionia High School in 1934.  Bonnie was an avid 
bingo player, enjoyed shopping, traveling and bowling, and loved crocheting and 
sewing for Ionia businesses. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Kinsman, Sr.; six sisters; 
two brothers.  Surviving are her children, John (Melva) Kinsman of Ionia, Judy 
(Tom) Godden of Mecosta, Willard "Bill" (Bonnie) Kinsman of Portland, and 
Charles (Sandra) Kinsman of Ionia; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 
three great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. 

The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Zion 
United Methodist Church, Ionia, with Pastor Cliff Allen presiding.  Interment 
will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Ionia.  The family will receive 
friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the church.  
Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes, 220 Rich Street, Ionia.  
For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Healthcare, 
or Great Lakes Hospice, in memory of Bonnie.
