Jacob Eugene Kirby, 93, died early Monday morning at the Hawley Convalescent 
home in Muir.  Mr. Kirby, was known around Lyons and Muir for his work as a 
stone mason.  He was known to have been born in Ohio.

Surviving are one son, Julius of Muir and one daughter, Mrs. Elva Riley of 
Flint.  Several grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, at 2 p.m. from the Shaw-Rivett funeral home 
in Muir.  The Rev. Earl Bussom of the Lyons Baptist church will officiate.  
Interment will be in Eureka cemetery in Eureka, Mich.
