The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, July 16, 1955

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Myers funeral 
home for William M. Kirby of Route 2 Saranac.  The Rev. Glenn McCarty of 
Saranac officiated with interment at Saranac cemetery.

Pallbearers were brother-in-laws, Royal Soules, Vernon Vos, Alfred Ward, 
Frederick Sheaffer, Lloyd Dye, Lester Edmonds and Donald L. Stanton.  Flowers 
were in charge of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Dick of Lake Odessa.

Those attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Ward and Mr. and 
Mrs. Marvin Dick of Lake Odessa, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Edmonds of Belding, Mr. 
and Mrs. Royal Soules, Richard Soules and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Randall of 
Saranac, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kirby of Palo, Mrs. Roderick Cole and Carl 
Armstrong of Lansing, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Kirby, Mrs. Julius Kirby, Randy 
Kirby, and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Randall of Muir and Mrs. Howard Noddins of 
Orleans.
