Audrey E. Kirby, 85, of Lyons passed away July 24, 2013 in Lansing. She was 
born Jan. 21, 1928 in Lyons, Mich., the daughter of Clayton and Ethel 
(Hagerman) Ralph. Audrey married Ernest Kirby March 15, 1952 in Lyons. He 
preceded her in death in 2012.

She was a graduate of Lyons High School class of 1946 and a member of Lyons 
Baptist Church. Audrey worked at Chrysler Trim Plant in Lyons until it closed. 
She later worked at Wendy's in Ionia until retiring. She loved to bake, garden 
and just be outside.

Audrey is survived by her children, Deborah Richmond of Lyons, Clayton Kirby of 
Indiana, Irene (John Flick of Muir and Patricia Stevens of St. Johns; 
grandchildren, Jonathan Richmond, Dawn Richmond, Christie Shields, Donavan 
Stevens and Joshua Stevens; brother, Francis Ralph of Ionia, Beatrice (Gene) 
Zander of Lyons and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one brother, Robert Ralph; 
son-in-laws, Dennis Stevens and Ray Richmond; and one grandson, Garry Shields.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 27 at Lyons Baptist 
Church in Lyons, with Pastor Jon Cashner officiating. Interment Lyons Cemetery. 
Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lake Funeral Home of Ionia.
