Ernest Ray Kirby, 83, of Lyons, passed away April 1, 2012. He was born Dec. 10, 
1928 in St. John's, the son of Eugene and Lydia (Henderson) Kirby.

He married Audrey Ralph, March 15, 1952 in Lyons. Ernest and Audrey had just 
celebrated their 60th Wedding anniversary. Ernest was a member of Lyons Baptist 
Church. He was an avid hunter.

Ernest is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Audrey Kirby of Lyons; 
children, Deborah Richmond of Lyons, Clayton Kirby of Indiana, Irene (John) 
Flick of Muir, and Patricia Stevens of St. John's; seven grandchildren and 10 
great grandchildren; brother, Royal (Mildred) Kirby of Grand Rapids; and 
sisters, Evelyn BreDice if Ohio, Ruth (Arlyn) Witheral of Lowell, Pauline Kirby 
of Michigan and Josephine Kirby of Florida. 

He was preceded in death by one brother, three sisters and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lyons Baptist Church 
with Pastor Ralph Barton officiating. The family will receive friends and 
relatives 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

Funeral arrangements by Lake Funeral Home in Muir. Anyone wishing may make 
memorial contributions to the family choice.
