Sentinel-Standard - Wednesday, 27 Dec. 1950

Lyons- Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Shaw-Rivett funeral 
home in Muir for Irvin I. Kirby, 69, who died Saturday at the Ionia Rest Home. He 
had been a resident of Lyons for some time.

The Rev. Myron Hoyt, pastor of the Lyons Methodist church, officiated. Mrs. Milo B.

White of Muir was in charge of the music.

Bearers were Stanley Allen, G. D. Robertson, George Hodgman, jr., and Lauren
Hawley.

Interment was in the Highland Park cemetery.

Attending the services from away were Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Mann of Rockford, Mr. and

Mrs. Lauren Hawley of Carson City, Mrs. Leo White and Mr. and Mrs. Darold A_ers of 
Alma, Mr. and Mrs. Beryless Kirby of Walled Lake and Mrs. Genevieve Martin of 
Foster. 

He was born in Gratiot county December 5, 1881.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Leota Gratopp of Birmingham; a sister, Mrs. Leo 
White, of Alma; three brothers, Beryless of Walled Lake, Myron of Dansville and Wylo

of Pontiac.
