Tuberculosis Is Fatal to Woman
Mrs. Forrest Kirby Succumbs To Seven Months’ Illness of Dreadful Disease

Mrs. Forrest Kirby, 23, well known resident of Muir for the past six years,
passed away at her home Sunday morning, following a lingering illness of
tuberculosis.  She had been ill for more than seven months.  

The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon, with Rev. E.O. Mather, pastor of the
Lyons Methodist church, in charge.  Interment took place in the Muir cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, a four-year-old son, three sisters and two
brothers.  Before her marriage she was Miss Susan Halstead.
