EVELYN M. KIRCHEN
MUIR - Evelyn M. Kirchen, 47, of 701 W. Main St., Grand Ledge, died at her residence
July 20.

She was born in Grand Ledge April 21, 1935, the daughter of Ronald and Leida
Schreiner. She attended Grand Ledge schools and was employed as a nurses aid at Provincial
House in Lansing.

She was married to Cecil Kirchen in 1951; he survives.

Also surviving are four sons; Cecil Jr. of Mulliken, Daniel and Ronald of Grand
Ledge; Timothy of Battle Creek; one daughter; Mrs. Kathy Tefft of Grand Ledge; and six 
grandchildren.

Other survivors include three brothers, William Schreiner of Chicago and James
Schreiner of Jackson and Robert Green of Muir; four sisters, Mrs. Joyce Burnham of Eagle, Mrs.
Edith Meis of Lyons, Mrs. Connie Peabody of Lake Odessa, and Mrs. Cora Smith of Perry. One
brother preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. from the Hull Memorial Chapel, Muir, with
the Rev. Bretnt Jerome of Delta Haven Free Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will be in Lyons Cemetery.
