Feb. 27, 2016 MOLLY LYNN KIRGIS Molly Lynn (Roznoski) Kirgis passed away unexpectedly at her home, Wednesday morning, Feb. 24, 2016. Molly was born in Duluth, Minnesota on March 28, 1957. She was the daughter of Roger and Carole (Coombes) Roznoski. She graduated from middle Tennessee State University in 1978. Prior to marrying her husband and moving to Michigan in 2001. Molly worked at the Vanderbilt University School for Medicine, for several years as a senior lab technician in the Psychiatry Department. She contributed to several abstracts in scientific Journals, including; The Journal of Neuroscience, Neuropsychopharmacology, Minerava Medica, American Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry and several other publications. She also worked at the University of California at San Diego where she was involved in Parkinson's research, where she also contributed to an abstract in the British Journal of Clinical pharmacology. Molly was an avid reader, but also enjoyed her flowering plants, hiking and even enjoyed walking the golf course with her husband. Molly's true passion however, was her love of all animals-especially watching and feeding those birds, deer, raccoons and stray cats, etc. that would come to her many feeding platforms. Molly is loved and survived by her husband Gregory Kirgis; by her mother Carole; her sister Linda (Roznoski) Matter; her brother John Roznoski, from Charlevoix; by her uncles Carl and Steve Roznoski; and her aunt Gail Roznoski from Green Bay, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her father Roger; her sister Kelly (Roznoski) Elzinga; and her brother David Roznoski. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home in Belding, MI. Date and time is pending. Remember Molly Lynn, "I love you-forever & a day"-we are not to forever,yet.- Greg.
