Frances Clara Kirkby, age 89, went to sleep in the arms of Jesus at home with 
her family at her bedside, on Sunday, March 27, 2005.  Frances was preceded in 
death by her parents Bertha and Frank Pierce, her husband Gerald Kirkby, sister 
Evelyn Mathis, and one Grandchild Jessica Heather Kirkby.

She is survived by her son John, daughter-in-law Jan, granddaughter Catharine 
Frances Hunt, grandson in-law Joshua Hunt.

She was a long time member of the Ionia Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Ionia.  
She was known for all the work she did for her Lord and Savior, and will be 
sadly missed.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ionia Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 
721 Elmwood Drive, Ionia.  Visitation is 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. just prior to 
the funeral.  Pastor James Micheff, Jr. will officiate.  Family has requested 
in lieu of flowers that memorial donations be made to Heartland Hospice of 
Grand Rapids, Ionia Seventh-Day Adventist Elementary School, or Three Angels 
Broadcasting Network.
