Muir – Flora J. (Mrs. Henry) Kirkham, 95, formerly of Muir, died Sunday 
afternoon at her daughter’s residence.

She was born March 20, 1891 in Calhoun County, Michigan, the daughter of 
William and Ada Bevard Pardee. 

She married Henry Kirkham in 1909, and he preceded her in death in 1965. 

The couple moved to the Lyons-Muir area in 1910, where they operated a farm 
until 1965.

She is survived by one son, Donald Kirkham, of Ionia; one daughter, Frances 
Dunn of Birmingham; one sister, Elizabeth Train of Edmore; seven grandchildren, 
13 great-grandchildren.

One son preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, at 1 p.m. from the Hull Memorial in Muir.

Burial will follow in Vinewood Cemetery in Edmore. Friends may call all day 
Tuesday at the funeral home.
