Mrs. N.C. Kirkham dies Thursday in Eighty-sixth Year

Mrs. N.C. Kirkham, aged 86 years, died Thursday morning at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Will Cannon, West Lytle street. Mrs. Kirkham has been a resident
of Ionia for about 10 years.  Before coming to Ionia to live her home was at Niles.

Mrs. Kirkham was born in England.  She had been an invalid for a year.  As long
as her health permitted she attended St. John’s Episcopal church.  Besides her
daughter she leaves a son in the southern part of the state.

The funeral will be held from the residence of Mrs. Cannon, 122 West Lytle
street, Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock.  Rev. Thomas LeRoy Parker will conduct
the service.  Burial will take place in Highland Park cemetery.
