The services were conducted by Rev. Howard J. Clifford, pastor of the Presbyterian church, of which Mrs. Kirsheman was a member. She was born in Canada but for 62 years had been a resident of Ionia county and it was here she reared her family of eight children. These are: Mrs. Schroeder, Mrs. J. M. Hanigan, Mrs. Paulins Blomrick and Mrs. Alfonso Kennedy; Eugene Kirsheman, Grand Rapids; Alva Kirsheman, Flint, and George Kirsheman, Ionia. In spite of her advanced age Mrs. Kirsheman was interested in fraternal associations up to the time of her death, and in her earlier life, was a loyal and active worker in the fraternities to which she belonged. These included the Ionia Shrine, White Shrine of Jerusalem, Maccabees, and Queen Esther chapter of the Eastern Star.
