March 23, 2018 EVAN KISELA, 80 Graveside memorial services for Evan Edward Kisela, age 80, of Picayune, MS, formerly of Ionia, Michigan, who passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018, will be held at Balcom Cemetery, 469 West Tuttle Road, Ionia, MI. 48846, at a date to be determined. Burial will be in Balcom Cemetery. Local arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. Rev. Harger, of the Shiloh Community Church, will officiate the service. A native of Hobart, IN, he was a retired Instument Technician for U.S. Steel. Evan was a member of the Izaak Walton Conservation Club, and Ionia County fishing and Hunting Club. He was a Beekeeper in Ionia and Montcalm Counties, and a member of the Michigan BeeKeeper's Association, for several years. Evan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Kisela and Beulah Bellinger Kisela; his sisters, Barbara Preston, Maxine Blanchard, and Linda Blankenship, and his brothers, Edward Kisela, Jr. and Charles Kisela. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 49 years, Sharon Lee Youngs Kisela; his sister, Donna Belt,; his children, Russell (Ronni) Kisela, Jack (Dina) Kisela, Julianne (Alan) Chadsey, Susan Castro, Cynthia Stephens, Paul (Candice) Kisela, Elisabeth (Terry)Tarchala, and Alisa Straite; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
