Sentinel-Standard - Wednesday, June 28, 1944

Mrs. Mary E. Kishpaugh, 91-year-old resident of Ionia, died Tuesday afternoon at 
2:45 at her South Jefferson street home following an illness of several months. She

was born June 15, 1853, in Lenawee county and was the daughter of Norman and Sabra 
Reynolds, who moved to Ionia when she was a baby.

January 26, 1871, she was married to Frank Kishpaugh, of Lenawee county, and the 
couple spent a short time in Missouri and near Adrian before moving to Ionia. Mr. 
Kishpaugh died many years ago. 

She was a member of the First Methodist church and the Maccabees and was an active 
worker in the general WSCS of the former. 

Surviving is a daughter, Blanche, at home; a son, George Kishpaugh, of Adrian, and a

brother, John Reynolds of Ionia.

funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence, 117 
South Jefferson street. Rev. F. G. Dunbar, of Grand Rapids, will officiate and 
burial will be in Highland Park cemetery.
