Douglas Lynn Kissane of Portland.
Died Saturday August 22, 2020-age 77.
Born March 28, 1943 son of Francis and Dorothy (Wilcox) Kissane.
Doug was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church & a proud U.S.Army 
Veteran.
Worked at Lansing Drop Forge for 30 years. 
Served as President of the local #724.
After retirement, he spent years as a real estate agent in Portland.
Doug loved golfing, bowling, camping, fishing, hunting & his vegetable 
garden, Cooking and was a barbecue master.
He enjoyed making wine & painting with his grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents & brother James Kissane.
Survived by his loving wife of almost 56 years, Carleen (Stump) Kissane, his 
children; Lynn (Marc) Nichols, Donna (David) Crim, Michael (Ann) Kissane, and 
Amy (Michael) Gorham; grandchildren, Brandon (Elizabeth) Gleason, Autumn 
(Tom) Densmore, Brooke (Mark) Simpson, Evan, Austin, and Connor Pelfrey, 
Michelle (Brandon)Trierweiler, Alex, Riley, Leah, Isabelle, and Cora Kissane, 
Coty Kissane, and Logan and Ryan Lefke; 13 great-grandchildren, siblings, 
Marlene (Larry) Schrauben, Linda Wohlfert, Tom (Toni) Kissane, Kathy Clark, 
and Pat (Mike) VerPlanck; and many nieces & nephews.
The family thanks Sparrow Hospice & Doug's caregivers, Michele, Nancy, Gina & 
Lindsey for their  compassion and care.
Mass  of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Mike Alber at 11:30 AM 
Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2020 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Portland.
Rite of Committal will follow at Portland Cemetery with Military graveside 
honors by Portland VFW #4090.
Visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. with rosary at 7:30 PM at Lehman 
Funeral Home, Portland.
