The Ionia Sentinel, Thursday, February 15, 1900

There was a large attendance at the funeral of Thomas H. Kistner, at the 
Church of SS. Peter and Paul this morning, Rev. Fr. Fierle officiating.  
Nearly 50 members of the German Labor Aid society were present, furnishing the 
pall bearers as follows: Nicholas Blewer, Henry Krieger, Frank Shultz, John 
Blassen and Romaine Steinberg.  The interment was in Highland Park cemetery.  
Relatives here to attend the funeral were John Hinds, wife and son, Henry; M. 
Hinds and wife, and Wm. Hummell and wife all of Isabella county.
