Daily Sentinel - Thursday, May 9, 1912

The funeral for Mrs. V.H. Kitson was attended from the church in Grattan 
township Wednesday afternoon the church being filled with those who were 
present. Many beautiful floral offerings were in evidence and a number from 
Ionia attended. Among those who went from here were D.J. Campau, A.A. Baxter 
and George J. Cutler representing the Elks, Dr. F.M. Marsh, Dr. George P. 
Winchell, Dr. J.J. McCann, Mr. and Mrs. Asa Burnette, Mrs. Frank Morey and Mrs. 
Oscar Price. Kr. Kitson will resume his practice in Ionia following a course of 
study which he intends to take in Detroit and which will occupy several weeks.

The funeral services of Mrs. V.H. Kitson were held Wednesday morning at 
Bostrick Lake church, Grattan. Many floral testimonials went from the city, a 
large proportion of them being from various associations here.
