Lake Odessa Sentinel
          EDNA E. (WINEY) KLAHN
   LAKE ODESSA -- Edna E. (Winey) Klahn, 95, of Lansing, died Tuesday at the
Roselawn Manor facility.
   She was born July 25, 1891, in Carlton Township, Barry County, the daughter of
John and Marquebell (Gerkey) Winey.  She was married to Arthur Klahn on Nov. 20, 
1912.  He preceded her in death in 1971.
   Mrs. Klahn moved from Lake Odessa to Lansing in 1934.  She had been a member of
the Westminster Presbyterian Church and the Lansing General Hospital Guild for several 
years.
   Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Chester, (Mary Jane) Trout and Mrs. Richard
(JoAnn) Burwick, both of Lansing;  four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
   A grandson-in-law.  David Monroe, preceded her in death earlier this year.
   Rev. James B officiating.  Burial followed in Lakeside Cemetery.
