Klahn, 80, of Lansing passed away Saturday morning at the Provincial House, following a short illness. Mr. Klahn was born at Lake Odessa, August 5, 1890, son of John and Wilhelmina (Christie) Klahn. He graduated from Lake Odessa High School in 1909 and from Davenport Business College in 1911. He married Edna E. Winey of Lake Odessa November 20, 1912 and moved to Lansing in 1935. He was employed at Michigan State University as a dairyman and as a carpenter. He was a member of the Westminister Presbyterian Church of Lansing. Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (JoAnn) Burwick and Mrs. Chester (Mary Jane) Trout, both of Lansing; four grandchildren; two brothers, Alton and Ernest and a sister, Mrs. Gladys Koutz, all of Lake Odessa. Private funeral services were held on Tuesday at two o'clock at Pickens Funeral Chapel, Lake Odessa. Rev. Roy McRoberts officiated with burial in Lakeside cemetery.
