Lowell Ledger, 18 Jun 1980

Myrtle T. Klahn, aged 82, of 11964 Portland Rd., Lowell, died Wed., June 11 at
Kent Community Hospital.  She was born in Ohio on March 11, 1898, the daughter
of John and Carrie Boyd.  She was a member of the Alto Methodist Church, the
South Boston Grange, the Farm Bureau and the South Boston Extension Club.  She
married LaVerne Klahn in Indiana in 1926.  He preceded her in death in 1966.

She is survived by one son and a daughter-in-law, Fred and Darlene Klahn of
Lowell; two daughters, Mrs. Phil (Lois) Seese of Alto and Mrs. John (Phyllis)
Conway of Kentucky; five grandchildren; dear friend Mr. Scott Obeirne; and four
great grandchildren.  One sister preceded her in death in 1957.  One very close
friend, Mr. Scott OBeirne; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.  

Services were held Saturday in the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac.  Burial will be
in South Boston Cemetery.
