Klahn, a well known and highly respected resident, passed away last Friday at her home after a brief illness. She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. May Wieland, a son, Bert Klahn and five sisters, Mrs. Ida English, of Portland, Oregon, Mrs. Mary O’Harrow, of Alto, Mrs. Lane and Mrs. E. Henderleiter, of Lake Odessa, and Mrs. Viva Hazel, of South Lowell, all of whom have the sympathy of the community in their bereavement. She also leaves a host of life-long friends who mourn her passing. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Willand and Bert Klahn were called home last week from St. Petersburg, Fla., on account of the serious illness of their mother, Mrs. Wieland and brother came by train, but were unable to reach home until a few hours after their mother’s death. Mr. Wieland made the trip by auto, arriving home Monday morning.
