Ionia Sentinel Standard, 17 Dec 1977

Portland – Richard W. Klein, 47, of 480 Jones road, route 1, Pewamo, died Friday
in Detroit Osteopathic hospital.  He was born April 3, 1930 in Westphalia, the
son of Louis and Dora Fedewa Klein.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys, two sons, Kevin and Bruce of Pewamo, one
daughter Mrs. Shirley Schafer of St. Johns; six brothers, Anthony, Leo, Stanley
and Mark of Westphalia, Herman of Pewamo and Clarence of Fowler, three sisters,
Mrs. Rose Schafer of Westphalia, Mrs. Mary Ann George and Mrs. Helen Schneider
of Fowler, one sister-in-law, Mrs. Louis Klein of Westphalia.

Rosary will be recited Saturday, Sunday and Monday at 3:15 and 8:15 p.m. in the
Neller funeral home with funeral mass Tuesday at 10 a.m. from St. Joseph’s
church in Pewamo with Msgr Thomas Bolger officiating.  Burial is in St. Joseph’s
cemetery.  Bearers are Melvin Stump, Dennis Fandal, Kenneth Platte and Thomas,
David and Bruce George.
