The Ionia County News, Thursday, September 14, 1944

Frank Klein, 46, died at his home in Lake Odessa, Tuesday night, September 12, 
after a long illness.  Funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon from the 
Methodist church in the village and the body taken to Hosters, Iowa, for 
burial. 

Mr. Klein was born in Hosters, Iowa, November 3, 1897.  He was united in 
marriage with Miss Alice Hoffs on December 18, 1918, and they had lived in 
Lake Odessa about eight years.

Surviving besides the widow, are two sons, Pvt. Warren Klein of Bluthantol 
Field, N.C., and Marinus Klein, and a daughter, Iola, both at home; his 
father, Henry Klein, Hosters, Iowa; one brother and two sisters of Sheldon, 
Iowa.  Dr. M. A. Hoffs of Lake Odessa is a brother-in-law.
