Marguerite Klein, age 87, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2005. She was born on May 9, 1918 in Ionia, the daughter of Anthony and Cecelia (Harter) Grescowle. Mrs. Klein graduated from SS. Peter and Paul Academy in 1936, and was a member of the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ionia, as well as the Rosary Circle. Margie married John “Jack” Klein on October 10, 1940 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She was beautician, working out of her home for over four years, and was also the hair stylist for Cook Funeral Home in Ionia. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John “Jack” Klein on September 27, 1977; daughter, Patsy Falsetta on December 20, 1998; two brothers; one sisters. Surviving are her son, John (Patricia) Klein of Ionia; daughters, Mary Jo (Marquis) Sparks of Belding and Karen (Edgar) Dickerson of Waterford; grandchildren, Carrie (Tony Bianchi) Bunting, Brian (Wendy) Sparks, Anne (Brian) Sherrieb, Scott Dickerson, Barbara (Jeff) Montgomery and Mark (Jennifer) O’Connor; great grandchildren, Allison Bunting, Michael Bunting, Mya Rose Bianchi, Talon Sherrieb, Nathaniel Sherrieb, Jeffery Montgomery, John Montgomery, Jacob, Devin, Patrick and Zach Montgomery. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Melvin Fox, Pastor at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2005 SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ionia. Rite of Committal will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Ionia. The family will receive friends at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich Street, Ionia from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. A Scriptural Wake Service will beheld at 8 p.m. Tuesday. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to SS.
