Ionia Sentinel Standard, 16 Jul 1984

Carol Jean Klein, 28, of Atlanta, Ga., former Ionia resident died Friday of
injuries sustained in an automobile accident Thursday July 12.  Born Oct. 20,
1955, in Ionia, she was the daughter of Robert J. and Harriet Gemuend Klein. 
She graduated from Ionia High School in 1973 and from Michigan State in 1978 in
hotel management.  At the time of her death she was employed as the sales
manager in the Atlanta, Ga., office for the Jekell Island Hilton Hotel.

She is survived by her parents; a sister, Barbara Poole of Grand Haven; two
brothers, Robert of Acworth, Ga., and James of Ionia; a grandmother, Mrs. Laura
Gemuend of Ionia; two nieces and a nephew.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. from SS Peter and Paul Church. 
Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.  The family will be at Roetman Funeral
Home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
